Alarming World’s Climate

Climate means the weather of a region. World climate refers to the weather of the universe.  It relates with geographical situation. Man’s life depends on it.

Causes: The world climate is undergoing a significant change day by day.  The reports available in this regard provide strong evidence that the world’s temperatures are increasing day by day. This increase in global warming is caused by increased amount of carbon dioxide around the earth. Most climatologists believe that the green house effect is likely the cause of world’s alarming climate.

Warning: The gradual warming of the air surrounds the earth as a result of heat which is being trapped by environmental pollution. Humans, animals and plants are all important elements of the natural environments.  But humans are cruelly destroying plants and animals and are creating a danger for us all. The destruction of forests and others habitats is causing the extinction of various plants and animals every day. These are particularly severe in the areas of tropical forests which cover only 7% of the surface of the globe, but which provides the living space for between 50% and 80% of all our wildlife. Their decline has been accelerated by the destruction of their feeding and nesting places by the collection of eggs and above all by the widespread use of chemicals and pesticides which enter food chain leading to sterility and mass death. The hunting of birds and animals is another cause of their extinction. Men kill birds for food and feathers, hunt big cats for making fur coats and slaughter alligators and other reptiles for shoes and bags.

Culprits of global warming: All species are important for maintaining ecological balance. If one is lost, the whole natural environment changes. In order to protect the environmental from being spoil, we should, therefore, protect our wildlife.  Green house effect is also serious. This is exemplified by the destruction and burning down of tropical rain forests by traffic that clogs up the city streets, by the rapid growth of industry. The use of CFCs in packaging and manufacturing commercial product the use of detergents such as washing powder, washing up liquid and so on. The oceans are said to both because of human waste product, oil seeping from damaged supertankers and from other maritime disasters. The main culprits of global warming are carbon dioxide gas produced by the burning of fossil of fuels and forests and pollutants such as machines and CFCs.

Climatologist’s opinions:  Climatologists predict that midway through the next century, temperature may have risen by as much as 4°c. This could catastrophically reduce mankind’s ability to grow foods, destroy wildlife and wilderness raise sea levels the lower part of earth may possible go under water.

The alarming world’s climate is very dangerous for mankind and ecological balance necessary step should consciously be taken to keep the ecological balance so that the world’s climate may remain normal.
